Silly Soccer

SILLY SOCCER is a top-down game featuring a very determined little hedgehog. The ball is linked to you with a stretchy but snappy tether, meaning you pull it and it pulls you! Smash the ball to send yourself flying forward or tow it around as your little helper!

This is a mostly physics-based game that will be tough at first, but becomes extremely fun and addicting once you start throwing yourself around fluidly. I made this in about 12 hours after deciding very late that I'd join the 2021 GMTK Jam with a solo UE4 project.

Music is a slight remix of One Note Samba as done by Stacey Kent

CONTROLS

W / A / S / D -- Move your character

Left Click or Space Bar -- Dash (Hold down to charge up dash)

ALT+F4 to exit the game

Quick disclaimer: I think levels 7, 8, and 9 are not functioning as intended. They are supposed to have holes in the floor with spike traps, but I had a bug where a previous level wouldn't despawn no matter what I did. This led to the floor being fully intact for those three levels where it shouldn't be. Sorry if you trip and fall on the tip of a death spike pokin out of the ground!
